What is Rapidmove?
Rapidmove (UK) Limited was set up to provide quality Home Information Packs (HIP’s) by electronic means for the benefit of the industry and the consumer alike.
Our Charter is to provide rapid, cost effective solutions to enable the transfer and speedy exchange of contracts for property and provide quality HIP’s to enable Estate Agents, Solicitors and Clients to comply with the Governments Housing Bill Legislation in June 2007.
The business is operated by experienced lawyers and professional support staff who understand the property business and who acknowledge the need for quick effective delivery of information which ensures early commitment from buyers and exchange of contracts.
We provide all levels of pack from Basic packs which exceed government requirements and include title information and Plan, Local and Water searches and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) together with sale statement and Index the new Property Information Questionnaire and any additional title information. Our Platinum packs contain the above together with a Home Condition Report (HCR) additional searches and guarantees. Leasehold packs will also contain a copy of the Lease. We can also put you in touch with legal or estate agency services if you require through our approved partnered firms. We can also offer title insurance to remedy problems or defects in the title at an early stage.

What will my Home Information Pack (HIP) contain?
A HIP from Rapidmove contains all the information you require to market your home from day one. Where the property is registered, packs are usually ready for marketing within 48 hours. The basic pack model contains an Energy Performance Certificate or EPC, and other relevant documents including
Index and Sale Statement
Property Information Questionnaire
Local and Water Searches
title information and plan
Home Contents form (Where you choose to complete it)
Additional supporting documents mentioned in the Home Use form or relevant to the sale
Much of this information is already prepared for buyers and sellers by lawyers. All that will happen now is that this information will be collated before you prepare your sale contract.
The pack must include an Energy Efficiency Report which will be displayed in the pack after the Index.
Newly regulated Energy Inspectors will review the efficiency of your heating, insulation and likely bills and will advise on ways to improve your home. The pack can also include a Home Condition Report, which is a new style survey giving details about the condition of the property. It can be carried out by any accredited Home Inspector.
The pack is prepared on behalf of the seller before a house is put on the market and is available for house-hunters to view once they have been accepted by the seller as genuine buyers.
HIPs are now a legal requirement since June 2007, and Rapidmove have gained experience in how to prepare packs efficiently and what customers and partners like. We make it easier for you!
