Rapidmove completed their first Return to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister in April 2006 detailing information about their experiences to date in providing voluntary packs to the industry.
Information covers the number and price of packs provided, how they were paid for, how advertised, and all parties experiences to date with the service. It is hoped that much of the information obtained from customer feedback will be used in forthcoming newpaper articles promoting both Rapimove and our partner firms.
Tricia Lawlor Technical Director of Rapidmove said "We are providing assurance to the Government by participating in the early stages of the dry run that is providing information on the early use of Home Information Packs, to increase confidence in the operation of the scheme. We will continue to support the Government in future phases of the dry run as they are defined.
The dry run has commenced with 45 organisations in England and Wales providing more than 2500 packs on a voluntary basis.
Rapidmove are also assisting independent estate agents and legal practices who wish to take part in the dry run with advertising brochures and publicity to help them to inform and advise their customers and avoid the miss-information which prevails.
